By placing an order through the SA Speech & Hearing Centre (SASHC) website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase. These terms apply to all products sold through our online store.
All purchases are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
We sell a range of hearing, communication and speech products through our website, including but not limited to:
- Phonak Roger systems (Roger ON, Roger Select, Roger Touchscreen and related accessories)
- Classroom soundfield systems and amplification equipment
- Hearing accessories and assistive listening devices
- Consumable and personal hygiene items, including Serenity Choice ear plugs
Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Specifications, colours, and packaging may vary slightly from those shown.
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. SASHC reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an error is identified after your order is placed, we will contact you before processing.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept payment via the methods listed on our checkout page.
SASHC offers a 30-day money back guarantee on eligible products, subject to the conditions set out below.
To be eligible for a return and refund under this guarantee, all of the following must apply:
- The return is initiated within 30 days of the date of delivery
- The product is in its original, unopened and unused condition
- The product is returned in its original packaging with all included accessories,
manuals, and documentation - Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided
To initiate a return, contact our team at info@sashc.com.au before sending any item back. We will provide return instructions. Products returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days to your original
payment method.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due
to a fault or error on our part.
The following products and circumstances are excluded from our 30-day money back guarantee:
For hygiene and safety reasons, Serenity Choice ear plugs and any other consumable or personal hygiene products cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances, regardless of whether they have been opened. This exclusion does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in the event of a genuine product fault.
We do not accept returns or provide refunds where you have simply changed your mind about a purchase, decided you no longer want the product, found it discounted elsewhere, or selected the wrong product. We encourage you to contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions about product suitability.
Products that have been opened, used, or are not in their original saleable condition are not eligible for a change of mind return. This includes items where original packaging has been damaged or discarded.
Products ordered specifically for you or customised to your requirements are nonreturnable unless faulty.
If a product you receive is faulty, defective, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. SASHC will offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature and severity of the fault.
Please contact us and include your order number, a description of the fault and supporting photos where possible. We may refer the product to the manufacturer for assessment. This process will be managed by SASHC on your behalf.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Exchanges are offered where a product is found to be faulty or defective. We do not offer exchanges for change of mind or incorrect selection. If you are unsure which product is right for you, please contact us before placing your order and our clinicians will be happy to assist.
SASHC ships Australia wide. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location and carrier availability. SASHC is not responsible for delays caused by third party courier services.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. If an item is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
